Professional Principles
Preparation and presentation define success in litigation. The lawyer who is best prepared has the upper hand in settlement and at trial. The advocate who most persuasively presents his/her case gets the best return for the client.
Legal fees are an investment. A client must be realistic about his/her goals and the reasonable cost of attaining them.
Sound judgment is the core of a client's investment. As litigation develops, for better or for worse, the client should always be confident that the attorney is turning events to the best advantage.
Good communication is fundamental. At every stage, a client should understand how the case has developed and how it might conclude. Clients are encouraged to call for status report and are provided with regular written reports.
